Daddy Thursday - Love

It is my pleasure to introduce you to Daddy Thursdays. Today we will talk about our love for daddy. Olivia loves her daddy so much that she always has a huge smile when she sees him. She loves giving hugs and kisses to daddy and giggles when daddy is making funny faces at her. He is always willing to change even the messiest of diapers and lets me sleep in as he takes care of Olivia. He even has woken up after only getting a few hours of sleep to get Olivia ready and takes her to Ms. Ejs as my alarm didn't go off and I am running late. Olivia and I are grateful to have the best man in our lives. He is the best daddy and husband in the whole world! WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Mario's 60th Birthday Bash

We had our first road trip as a family and Olivia slept through all 3 hours on the road. We all went to Lampasas to celebrate Uncle Mario's 60th birthday. It was a 3 day event that included unlimited food, drinks, and dancing! They even had a mechanical bull and a photo booth to entertain us. Aunt Debbie went over the top to make sure that everybody had fun. It was one of the greatest parties I have ever been to. It was great seeing everybody and we all had a blast!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIO....WE LOVE YOU!!

Olivia's First Birthday Party

Olivia went to Katelyn's 2nd birthday at Monkey Bizness and she enjoyed it. Olivia was greeted by Katelyn yelling out baby Oblibia! Katelyn gave Olivia a big hug and kiss. It was off for the big kids to have fun and jump around and Olivia just observed and was greeted by all of Elizabeth's family. Carson even said hello to her and Corrie held her. Olivia even got a goody bag! We knew the fun was over when she got a little fussy at the end, but once she got in her car seat she fell asleep. She sure did enjoy her outing!

My First Day without Olivia

Well...my 12 weeks of staying at home and taking care of Olivia came to an end today. I dropped off Olivia at Ms. Ejs and I of course cried like a baby knowing that I would not get to spend all day with her. Olivia was all smiles when I left her at Ms. Ej's and I know that she will enjoy it there.

Work on the other hand was a bit depressing to return to. In the 3 months I was off there has been lay offs and 3 deaths within the company. One in particular a coworker of mine who I sat next too passed away from cancer at a young age of 51. It was all sudden and we were very surprised that she passed away so soon.

Michael's First Father's Day

We celebrated Michael's First Father's Day. He had to work today, but he at least he had the morning to spend time with us. He opened up his presents that Olivia gave him which was an Astros titanium bracelet and a coffee mug with Olivia's picture on it. He loves being a dad and Olivia loves her daddy!

Celebrating My Birthday

It was a wonderful birthday as I woke up with sweet kisses and hugs from Olivia and Michael. Michael made me my favorite breakfast which was french toast. To celebrate my birthday, Michael and I went out to see Hangover...OMG...totally hillarious! We then went out to dinner to one of my favorite restaurants Mi Luna in Rice Village. We had a really good time, but missed Olivia the whole time (ok, maybe just me). Aunt Michelle and Cousin Maddie took care of Olivia and Olivia loved spending time with them! The day before Michael made a cake and Olivia helped me blow out the candles. Turning 31 was not so bad as I got to spend my birthday with the two loves of my life Michael and Olivia!

Daddy's First Day at Chuy's

Today was Michael's first day at Chuy's as he had orientation in Austin yesterday. Olivia and I will miss him very much! I will especially miss him as he has been so helpful with Olivia and he has been the best daddy! I swear Olivia loves being with daddy more than me, but I accept that as I love seeing Michael with Olivia. Michael is excited about learning everything about Chuy's. He seems much happier and Olivia and I can not wait until we can visit him at the restaurant!
